I have this and end up using the regular pump every time. It’s frustrating to use

hey just so people know, substrates dont need to be crystal clear and clean like glass and other parts of an aquarium. you could use this too much and remove too much good bacteria

Yall do NOT vacuum your gravel if you have plants. Your plants keep the substrate clean themselves. Leaving all that mulm in the substrate keeps your aquarium healthy and gives you less work.

The sand clogs these every single time and it just ends up as a regular pump😂

This does nothing to remove nitrates from the water, which means ot will NOT extend the time between water changes.

Y'all oml just let the mulm build up it's good for your tanks. The vast majority of the autotrophic bacteria in your tank is in the substrate.

Digging in the substrate will crash your tank

I have 4 Mature Tanks, heavily planted and I do very little vacuuming the bottom to the tanks. And on two of the tanks I never vacuum. I do some vacuuming in the Goldfish tank because they are such Pigs and theres no plants in that Tank.

Returning that dirty water back into your aquarium is a really bad idea shame on the manufacturer for suggesting such a thing. :-)😎

I bought 1 and the motor stopped working within 5min of use and got a replacement and it also stopped working within a few days. Trash Product wouldn't recommend for cleaning. Got a much better pump from Amazon
