If they would stop putting modules and sensors for every little thing , it would be reasonable to do it in 9 hours for big jobs , but all these wires and stupid modules for a stupid cup holder , yeah that’s why I decided to pursue different career and stick to my late 2000s cars.

retired mechanic 34 years the shop I worked at charging almost 200 a hour and paying techs 30 ahour 90 bucks a hour for three techs we were doing 50 to 60 hours a week

50 years as a mechanic/ Tech. 11 years at vw, Porsche ,Audi. Made it 1980-1991 in the dealership. 1991 I had to quit. I've owned repair shops till this year. Best decision ever. Retired now.

Had a 2013 Chevy Sonic with the new stuff they had and the engine and everything else was so hard to fix. Got a 2005 Chevy trailblazer and had it running like nothing was wrong with it. the newer eco friendly engines are bs

I think the new cars are over raided I think they just make it so hard to fix and plus he'll make more money being a mobile then a shop tec and he can make his own hours or get his own shop make good money get some extra tecs in it pay them a decent amount of money start pushing out the dealership
