Love the fact that Timor means East in Malay, Leste means East in Portuguese, so no matter which way you pronounce it - East Timor or Timor Leste - the country’s name translates as East East.

Great video!!! Just a small note: the letter "J" in Portuguese is always pronounced /ʒ/, similar to the sound in the middle of the English word "measure" /'mɛʒər/, or like the beginning of "genre" - basically like the letter "J" /dʒ/ in English, without the /d/ at the start. It is never pronounced as it is in Spanish /x/, kinda like a raspy "H". So the Portuguese name "José" ends up not being pronounced exactly as the Spanish name "José" 😅😂
