@thinkingcanine: An oldie but goodie. I’d rather not bring my dog in public if they are acting like a mess and clearly terrified. Not ok. My dogs are my friends, and my goal is that they feel comfortable, which is why I don’t use force and punishment with my dogs or clients dogs.

Working dogs through stressful situations is important. Pushing them out of their comfort zone builds resilience and a stronger dog. There's a more tactful way to do it than this tho
