thats tinea versicolor 👍 the uv helps it on the surface. you need the proper fungal cream.

Would it be better to shave them so if you’re using any creams, etc.. they can get to the skin? Not sure if others have mentioned it but hypochlorous acid has helped my underarms and folded areas

How are you finding getting uv on methotrexate? The sun has always helped my skin but I’m afraid of it now I’m on methotrexate lol

Thank you for posting. My son has dealt with very similar issues to yours. He has also been on MTX since January and we are just now seeing results. We are focussing on nutrition as well as possible causes. He has numerous environmental allergies (pollen (grass and trees), pet dander, mold and dust mites) so we are focussing on those as well with immunotherapy. What a journey. We are going to add the sea and sun when he gets home from school. Thanks for sharing as it helps others to learn.

I did the lion diet for 3 months and it didn’t help me at all :/ my armpits have a rash too. My functional med doctor told me it’s fungal so I had to get prescription Antifungals along with antifungal supplements
