but its so mich more terrible when this person who i dont even talk to destroyed the relationship I had with another co-worker, the one I talk to and has been so kind to me. I was shocked because she distanced herself from me and never even asked for my side of whatever story was told to her. it really hurts 😳🥺

Experienced it for sure!! Confronted the person, ended up apologising because I thought I unintentiinally did something wrong. Tried to get to the bottom of it because I valued our work relationship (worst mistake ever because it made me feel horrible). The person ended up telling our HOD another story and from then I knew where I stood. Lessons learned: • When people have a problem with you and they don't address it with you it's their problem, not your problem. • Egos play a huge role at work, some colleagues senior than you really don't want to see you thrive or empower you and I vowed never to be like that as a senior or as a colleague. I will always do my best to empower those around me...
