MEN THINK SEX IS DIFFERENT FOR THEM. HERE'S THE TRUTH. This is in response to the post I did last night — three things I learned about sex way too late in life. Before I start — let me be clear about who this is for. I am not speaking to the benchwarmers. The ones just looking to get laid with no intention of going deep. This is for the men and women who actually value themselves. Who want something real. Who want depth. Who want a love that means something. If that's you — keep reading. I got some comments from men after my last post saying this doesn't really apply to them. I respectfully disagree. Physically — the exact same thing happens in a man's body. When you sleep with someone your brain releases oxytocin. The bonding hormone. The same hormone released between a mother and a newborn child. Your brain literally wires itself to that person. Men may do a better job of disconnecting on the surface — because emotionally, men are wired to compartmentalize. But the bond was still created. That's why you can't stop thinking about her even though you know she wasn't right for you. That's why you keep going back even when you know better. That's why it hurt in ways you couldn't explain. You weren't just emotionally attached. You were neurologically bonded. And Scripture has known this long before science caught up. Genesis 2:24 — the two shall become one flesh. One flesh. So how do you break it? Step one — speak it out loud by name. In Jesus name I bring the cross between myself and [name them]. I break every soul tie, every unholy bond, every piece of myself I gave away. I take it all back. That door is closed. It is finished. Step two — do something physical to seal it. Delete the thread. Remove the photos. Return what belongs to them. Whatever represents that connection in the physical world — release it intentionally. Declare it first. Then act on it.
