The problem is, how could Mizi not do that? Her mind doesn't know what to do in a moment of grief. Everyone in the Alien Stage casting has no idea what good or evil is; they do whatever their minds see when they're free. How could she have been selfish if she doesn't even know what that really is? okay, I get what you're saying but I also think we often forget that Mizi and Sua were in a life and death situation at that moment. I'm not saying that Mizi slamming Sua against the wall was okay, but I am saying she was being overwhelmed by intense desperation and helplessness at the time. and both times we've seen Mizi show violence towards Sua, she's immediately been contrite. I don't think Mizi is naturally abusive, but the situations she's put in brings out the worst in her. Again, not saying it's okay. I just firmly believe that if Mizi and Sua were in an AU where their lives were happy, I don't think Mizi would be abusive towards Sua at all. I guess I get a little worried about stuff like this because in my area, a common stereotype on lesbians is that they're abusive to each other. It's a way straight people often dismiss our relationships by saying that we're actually miserable. Me and my wife have had people try to tell us that we're actually unhappy and abusive to each other when that isn't the case at all. Still not saying Sua deserved to be hit or infantilized at all. We should still condemn a character's actions but also be able to understand how they got to that point.

To be honest, I think I love Mizi exactly for her mistakes and bad sides, it makes her personality way more complex. I like themes and meanings embedded in her story, her traumas perfectly explained in her backstory, which makes her a very beautiful and interesting character in my eyes. I of course do not excuse her, but I think, that it is absolutely okay to love and defend her on some way as a fictional character.
