@grungyhealthgoth: “The poor farmer” But you’re just defending hardship as a virtue. The farmer doesn't dream of a lifetime of working in the fields. they dream of their kids not having to. Capitalism has truly rotted your brain if you hear "less backbreaking labor" and think "but what about the jobs?" #capitalism #communism
China embraces a development vision: when social productive forces advance to a considerably high level, labor will evolve into a privilege or a voluntary necessity pursued by people. It will no longer be undertaken for monetary gains, but serve as an embodiment of the existence of sound-minded and positive individuals. Agriculture has long been regarded by the Chinese nation as the foundation of the economy and civilization. In the future, farming will also become a luxurious pleasure.

The farmers maintain the drones and recharge/refuel and load the fertilizer and maintain the farms other infrastructure, making farming more productive. More food and cheaper for the people. The opposite of capitalism.

I'm fine with robotic labor, just make sure we have a UBI first.

I used to watch Star Trek as a kid and I would dream about the day when basic human needs were met so that we could explore space and meet aliens and stuff. I feel like China is way closer to that future than the United States is

Capitalism is obsolete in the face of 21st century technological advancement. Only communism can account for this.

farming is a passion to most, if we let a robot grow our food it takes the humanity out of it.

I long for a future where every single person in the world is free to pursue acts of service to mankind rather than being forced to labor away their lives

Unfortunately for you. AI is going eliminate all soft jobs as we are already seeing in the technology sector. Then the only jobs left will be blue collar. And guess what, I'm not giving mine to you. So buckle up Buttercup.
