Most minor league hitters can hit a fastball. Breaking balls are so hard to hit.

the 100mph fastball is crazy. I stood in a batting cage and saw the speed. I had to change my batting swing to Bobby Bonds

And hitting as never been harder. Not just the velocity, but Pitchers will use all their pitches in any situation. 3-1 isnt a fastball count anymore

I was just talking about athletes throwing out the 1st pitch and some look crazy. Lots of skill involved. And hitting a Randy Johnson 97 slider seems impossible
