@roberteckardlore: Imagine being pressured to plead guilty to a crime you didn't commit, under the threat of harsher penalties and even family repercussions. It's a daunting reality for some. But knowing your rights and options is power. #RobertEckardAssociates #TampaLawFirm #BusinessLitigationAttorney #JusticeSystem #PleaBargain
Correct. Wish I would have proceeded to court. Accepting a plea destroyed my life.

But your attorney is knowing that they’re not guilty as you’re just speaking about should file Brady because they’re withholding exploratory evidence or they have no evidence let’s be real. It takes a real attorney to fight these cases and to get them vacated.

I plead guilty because they said they would give me 40 years. And agree they would go after my family members. I got 84 months and was out after 34 months and then got clemency. It’s so unfair

They blackmail and coerce people. , it’s not about justice, it’s about a high conviction rate at all cost. I heard a prosecutor tell a guy with his public defender (I know you didn’t do this but because of your history, I can get you convicted of it if you don’t take the deal) and his public defender agreed so a man innocent of the crime according to the prosecutor had to take a deal. Also I know a prosecutor said in another case, (we spent millions trying to find something bad and haven’t, so they decided to see I if they could throw dozens of charges hoping something will stick.

I have a court case coming up and I know for a fact they’re gonna offer me a plea. I’m not pleading guilty. If I’m not guilty I don’t care what they threaten me with.
