I have been watching every year, but the show lost its charm after Simon left. Loved all the original judges. The first 6 seasons were magic. Back then American Idols website had message boards for each contestant, oh the sniping that went on. It was great! lol

I think people have lost faith in the show over the years bc none of the winners ever make it really big anymore. It’s like once they win they’re forgotten in just a few weeks.

Thanks for sharing. Really interesting. I love reality tv so I’m still watching on tv but I also follow on social media. I was curious if they can make as much money as they did when 38 million people watched on tv.
