This movie felt empty and vapid. Like two people who wanted to cheat, but didn’t. Both of the main characters are absolutely insufferable losers. It was really just one of the most boring obnoxious movies I’ve ever watched. Like yeah sure there are people who exist like this, but it’s really depressing and it doesn’t move me at all.

I had a colleague I didn’t see often because our shifts rarely lined up. We were never close, and we didn’t talk outside of work, but he was always kind to me. Whenever we did work together, we talked a bit, and it made the shift lighter and more enjoyable. He recently quit, and during his last shift, when we were saying goodbye, he told me, “Have a nice life.” I’m moving to another country, and probably I will never see this person again, and these words hit me in a weirdly poetic way. Even though we barely interacted, those small moments meant a lot to me, and this person ended up having a small but meaningful place in my life.

in College I met this funny guy and we had an instant connection, I joined his group through one of his friends but soon we went to the bars just the two of us. He had a girlfriend and I had a boyfriend (both long distance) and he became my best friend, we could talk about anything. After college I moved together with my boyfriend and got engaged, he got a job on Fuerteventura and suddenly we became long distance friends. We made video calls and had the same drinks we had when we moved through the bars, but then it seemed he didn't have much time for these calls. Weeks passed, sometimes months and suddenly he stopped talking and seemed to ghost me, even though I wanted him at my wedding and he promised to do a speech. When I realized our friendship was gone, I was so sad, but I guess it had to be. Our lifes developed quickly in opposite directions, he is all around the world, while I wanted to settle down. Sometimes I'm still sad, I try to remember the good moments from these years and accept that this friendship was only meant to last for this period of time 👍🏻
