i absolutely hated that they had aunt may give peter the “with great responsibilities” speech in no way home. the whole reason he’s spiderman is because of what uncle ben told him and it’s a genuine core part of him becoming spiderman. the fact that they decided to have aunt may give that speech, THREE MOVIES IN to the tom holland movies, made absolutely no sense and just annoyed the fuck outta me. like they could’ve just let us keep assuming uncle ben already gave him the speech but no, they just had to hamfist a plot point into the movie that makes no sense to have happen because it should’ve already happened like 4 years ago to peter.
