Being born wealthy isn’t as strong as learning how to be wealthy. Warren probably didn’t say buy a house. In my case it helped but yeah stay out of debt and live on less than you earn are the first two things. There is one more thing he did say that is not on the list. Learn the tax code.

the down payment 20% you put down on a home, will grow exponentially faster than the value of said home. Renting mathematically is better than owning if you invest that down payment over the course of your life
