I'm so happy that i saw this!! do you think izuku reminisces about his old self and class 1A a lot? For me, when deku loses one for all in the final war arc, he goes through a period that looks a lot like grief and depression. I could see how much losing his quirk had affected him. For someone whose entire identity and self worth had been built around becoming a hero (since it was his dream) through that quirk, suddenly being quirkless again leaves him withdrawn and questioning what he has left to offer after the war which is a big shift from his usual talkative self. I also love how they showed it as a real low point rather than just a quick sad moment, showing how much losing the quirk shook his sense of purpose. It starts to shift when his friends/classmates reject the idea that he’s worthless without a quirk and forcing him to reckon with who he is outside of one for all [cute] (also im glad that he eventually returns back to active hero work in the end)
