@peggyadamsarl: Why am I still here? Michelle has been ignored because of her looks 💔 Michelle was a little 1-month-old kitten when she came to us from an animal control facility for medical care. She was born with eye differences: eyelid agenesis (eyelids turned inward) and microphthalmia (small, underdeveloped eyes). Thankfully, we were able to send Michelle to an eye specialist for two surgeries: removal of her right eye, which was covered by a corneal ulcer, and cryosurgery to mediate eyelid agenesis in her left eye. Now, Michelle feels so much better! She still has her vision and is happier than ever. Sadly, it seems like her different appearance is stopping adopters from choosing Michelle 😢 This sweet girl has come so far - let’s find her the loving family she’s been dreaming of!
