@casabolanos: Here’s how it works! 👇 To give your kids Colombian citizenship, only ONE parent needs to be Colombian. I’m not Colombian (yet 🤞), my husband is, and with his paperwork we were able to obtain our kids registro civil here However, I did still need to have my documentation to show I am their mother I have all the documents you need and the process on my blog post (🔗 on my page!) **I am not a lawyer, but you don’t need a lawyer for this process! You can apply at a Colombian consulate abroad, we did the process here in Colombia at the registraduría and you get the document same day!
