Hey, I keep seeing your videos and I just had a quick question. This is my first summer growing a garden, and I have a spot that gets full afternoon sun — we're talking over 100 degrees sometimes! I do have a shade cloth up this summer, but I’d love to plan ahead for next summer and figure out the best plants to put in that area to provide some shade for the rest of the garden. The spot is about 8 feet long.

if you're in louisiana dont plant snap dragons in the spring. they cant handle our heat. have to plant them in the winter and have them blooming for the spring.
