Elle Moe :
I've been avoiding anamorphic shooting for over a decade now, for a very good reason. Yes, the bokeh feels nicer and the flares look so cool. Yes, there is even something that words can not quite describe that makes them feel so nice. But think about it like this: I am broke. I am so very, very broke.

Does anyone have a suggestion for an autofocus anamorphic lens for Canon EF or RF?

even if they did the same thing, you'd be sacrificing resolution during the crop

Why do people shoot such wide shots? Its kinda confusing to cause at least for video I cant scan that entire length as fast and it just more draining to do compared to 16:9 or honestly 4:3 i kinda miss 4:3, ive seen a few youtube videos shoot in it recently and it looks super good. Is it just harder to get right?
