@traveldaddydave: The $600 Amex Platinum Credit is so much easier to use than people think… IF you know where to look. The $600 credit is split into 2 $300 credits, the first of which expires on June 30th if you dont use it by then! And most dont realize this, but the credit can be triggered by staying only ONE night in the Fine Hotels and Resorts collection (FHR). The Hotel Collection (THC) requires a 2 night minimum stay to trigger the credit. And SO many people let this credit go to waste because so many of the hotels are 1000s of dollar a night. BUT This website MAXFhr organizes all of the hotels that qualify for the credit so you can spend ZERO out of pocket. This is not a sponsored post btw, it’s just the only website I use when I want to burn my credit. And it’s FREE. There is a pro version available but you dont need it. You just start your search on MaxFHR, confirm actual availability on AmexTravel, and then book using your platinum card.
