That’s actually not far off from the correct tool. We use diamond attachments on our sanders to rip through aluminum oxide prefinished flooring. Just start off with 36 or 49 grit when you get back to sanding and those scratches will be no issue

Gurrl I watched your previous video, if you wanna keep the colour light and natural, use a white wash matte finish stain and they won’t turn yellow. Here is my maple floors

We use diamond pucks on our planetary sander. Nice move because the rental drum sander doesn’t have enough power to cut through the AO finish. Great move on using the grinder

Can someone explain to me how this messes with the machine? 🥴😅 concrete is much harder than hardwood. If anything it’s less work on the machine. 🤷🏼♀️

I always thought you were supposed to go in the direction of the wood grain? I could be wrong but I've done a few hardwood floors and that's what I was told and it always looked incredible. Also I used a good ol fashioned floor sander 😆 but hey what do I know
