I’ll always be against the “too many cooks in the kitchen” argument because one, I just don’t think it’s accurate and two, its an argument frequently used by corporations to cut down the number of writers in the writing room, which was one of them major causes of the writers strike. I honestly don’t think it’s that crazy for the existing, experienced writers to have just fumbled the bag. There doesnt need to be a deeper explanation for it.

Why do shows ALWAYS get rid of the actual good writers, and just keep the boring ones instead, it makes 0 logical sense bc so many shows could’ve been way better if they just kept the og writers, like arcane for example
