Support BUTTERFLY PROJECT: PHASE THREE — 3000 Butterflies. Link in Bio https://www.gofundme.com/f/butterfly-project-phase-three 🦋 Last year, I started the Butterfly Project, a global gifting initiative. I paint small butterflies and send them to people all around the world. These butterflies are not for sale. They are gifts. In order to receive a butterfly, it needs a name, and it needs a story. This is how the Butterfly Project began. A man in Germany bought one of my pieces for his daughter for Christmas. About a year later, he suddenly passed away. His daughter asked her mom to reach out to me and request that I paint one of these small butterflies for her to place upon his grave. I was so profoundly moved that I painted two. One butterfly for her to place upon his grave, and one for her to keep, so they could fly together into eternity. Those first two butterflies changed me forever. It led to Phase One: 50 gifted butterflies. That led to Phase Two: 200 gifted butterflies. 200 souls. 200 titles. 200 stories. All flying around the globe. Stories about change, grief, love, loss, those who have passed, those not here yet, and those still with us. Now it’s time for the next step: BUTTERFLY PROJECT: PHASE THREE — 3000 Butterflies Phase Two showed me the limits of self-funding. The project covers laser cutting, paint, resin, global shipping, and production. At Phase Two scale, materials cost about $16.50 per butterfly. At 3000 butterflies, that’s just under $50,000, which is the goal. Supporting this does not reserve a butterfly. It supports the project so it can continue gifting butterflies to people who submit stories and titles. This funding is strictly for materials and production. I’m asking for your help to bring this global gifting initiative into flight. The Butterfly Project is about healing through art, connection, and the power of gifting. Thank you for your support. Let’s fly together. 🦋
