@author_kr_house: Here’s three kinds of scenes you can include to help get your story moving again if you get stuck! What tools do you use to fix up a plot that seems to have gotten stuck? #writersontiktok #writingtipsandtricks #BookTok
did every movie in existence use the first strategy? I feel like there's always an argument

A thing to remember is that in the moment, your characters are not stuck, YOU are. They still have desires and fears that can drive the story, so really understand what those are.

introducing a trolley problem is almost always a great conflict segment that reveals a lot of characters morals and values

one of the things I like to do is that one character wakes up early and has some overthinking happening and then the sun rises or another character comes over and hugs/kisses them and then it gets better.
mostly fear before a battle or smth where they feel guilty for lying or similar.
or they adore their partner and talk about that but i like to mention worries and stuff because idk so y'know

I don't write very often anymore, but I like giving characters time to express their thoughts when there's a sorta gap in the story. I like showing how my characters think and what their logic is like. It can also display their experiences in certain subjects. I like doing research for my characters and often put myself in their shoes so I can write them better.

Hey guys, I’m making an animation about a male, aging doctor who’s trying so hard to preserve his legacy, doesn’t acknowledge his decking cognitive abilities, and doesn’t want the new younger female doctor to replace him due to misogyny. Ultimately, these flaws culminate in him making a poor judgement regarding a patient’s illness, which costs them their life. The story ends with him realizing his wrongdoing and retiring—except it’s too late. His legacy has already been memorialized through plaques and portraits, but he no longer recognizes the man that they depict. For my animation I wanted the illness to be a metaphor of the doctor’s flaws or character arc, but idk what to do. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know!
