I think it would make sense, it also might explain why he was so enraged that for 7 months of their marriage she didn't fall pregnant. she might have miscarried very early after the wedding and then after not falling pregnant again for so many months might have made the king feel that she was infertile or incapable of giving him a son but because she was seen to be a virgin and pious when they married he couldn't do away with her as easily as he had Anne.

I don’t know if Jane would’ve been so giving, she was very religious and I can’t imagine she’d do anything before marriage? Just my opinion though and I wouldn’t put anything past Henry.
