I’m tired of people saying v1 doesn’t boost powers because that makes zero sense. Every supe with v1 are clearly way stronger than people with regular v. The only reason Homelander was stronger without v1 was because he was from project odessa. The writers are just terrible at showcasing power levels.

What are your thoughts on the opening scene of the finale? I found myself really irritated with how they treated it. It's his FINAL TESTAMENT and they decided to write him as someone who would spend more than half of it talking about their assholes... Felt like the writers were treating his farewell/death as a joke, to me

My theory is that this is the result of a rushed writing process. If the writers of the finale didnt have details of the episode before, there's no way they could write an opening that ties in well without multiple rounds of editing
