Because of the weird folding deal or the inconsistent boom height?

I've had a few questions about why the boom height changes throughout this video, so here's a quick explanation. First, keep in mind these are very aggressive hills that are challenging for any sprayer to operate in, especially with a 150-foot boom. Here's what's happening with the outer flex sections: The outer boom sections are controlled independently from the inner boom through what's called the outer angling cylinder. That cylinder has a maximum lift angle it can reach. When the outer boom height sensor requests more ground clearance and the outer section reaches that maximum angle, the inner boom then has to tilt upward to keep the outer tip safely within the target height range. As terrain changes, the system continuously adjusts the inner boom angle to prevent the outer boom tip from contacting the ground. This can make the overall boom height appear less consistent in extremely uneven terrain like this. In less aggressive rolling ground, the outer sections typically don't need to reach their maximum angle, so boom movement is much less noticeable. Compared to a rigid boom design, the inner boom would need to raise significantly higher to maintain outer tip clearance in these conditions, which would result in much poorer spray height consistency and coverage. Maintaining low boom height while keeping the outer wings stable and connected in terrain like this is a major challenge for any machine, especially at 150 feet wide. That's what makes the HORSCH Leeb BoomControl system so impressive in these conditions. #HORSCH #Leeb #BoomControl #Spraying #Hills

with a horsch we don't need to worry about the wind as much because we can lower the boom to 10 inches and it will stay 10 inches even on the hills but I would slow down
