That’s a 1986’ it’s the only year that MC changed the hull style to the newer pro 190 and used the stars and stripe deck. In 1987 is was the new hull style with new deck (fighter pilot windshield) pro 190. Composite stringers started in 1984.5-up. That 351w is very easy to work on. Just make sure to watch temperature gauge never let her get past 140 degrees. Use very high zinc oil and she will last 4000 hours. I use Chevron delco 15-40 in my 88 Malibu

Those are 5 to 10 grand all day long. Depends on what you’re going to do with it. It’s a great ski boat, but it’s not surf or wake boat. The hull is just wrong for that. Great little boats though.
