Creamy Tomato Pasta with Wagyu Steak 🍝 🥩 Ingredients: •Olive oil and butter • 1 Ib pasta of choice • 2 shallots, finely chopped • 5 garlic cloves, finely chopped • 2 tbsp tomato paste • 1 cup heavy cream • ½-1 cup pasta water • 1 cup freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano, plus more for serving • Fresh basil for garnish • 1 wagyu steak • 1 tbsp olive oil • Salt & pepper to taste • 1 tsp chili flakes • 1 tsp Italian seasoning Method: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente. Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water before draining. In a large pan over medium heat, add the olive oil, shallots, and garlic. Sauté until soft and fragrant. Stir in the tomato paste and let it cook for 2-3 minutes until rich and deep in color. Season with salt, pepper, chili flakes, and Italian seasoning. Pour in the heavy cream and mix until smooth. Add about ½ cup pasta water and stir. Add the grated Parmigiano Reggiano and mix until the sauce becomes creamy and silky. Add the cooked pasta directly into the sauce and toss until fully coated. Add more pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce. Season the wagyu steak with salt, pepper, and a touch of olive oil. Sear in a hot pan for a few minutes per side until beautifully caramelized and cooked to your liking. Let rest, then slice. Serve the pasta in bowls and top with sliced wagyu steak, fresh basil, and extra Parmigiano Reggiano. #wagyu #steak #pasta #food #asmr
