I fully agree with you. I move to Canada from Grenada in 2024 and I quickly had a rude awakening lol. It was a full 360 from what I was accustomed to. But I made it work tho but you’re right👏🏾👏🏾

Yup! Moved to Canada about 4.5 years ago and it’s really about learning to survive and adapt. Things are different here and more expensive but I enjoy the quality of life that I get here

I’ve moved 5 years now, been tougher for sure but the opportunities and life is definitely better… worked that Walmart job until I settled in and now I work and travel across the province.

Canadian experience is critical to get a job in your field most times. But you are right. You see where your taxes go. Winters are brutal. My advice is to find things to do. The life is different.

always remember , that in Canada it is possible to find some kind of job and if u lose your job, you could find another one ! but in Trinidad , that is a real issue ! also remember , whenever u get fed up of winter,you could always hop on a flight and head to Trinidad for some sun!!!
