They thought you substituted fries with the cheese curds. Normally you would get the fries, burger and drink. When you asked for curds, it was an assumption you wanted those instead of the fries.

Keep in mind that Culver’s is not native to Arkansas. This was just introduced to this area over the last few years. NWA is notorious for chain fast food. It’s quite fitting actually.

so that custard you tried looked like it was the Flavor of the Day that day which probably was Chocolate Volcano. Chocolate custard with m+m's, oreo, dove Chocolate, and chocolate syrup. the reason you didn't get fries is because you accidentally replaced the fries with the curds.

Is Culver’s burger going to change your life? No. Iis it one of the best fast food burgers in the business yes, top five or six. When you ask for cheese curds, I’m sure they assumed you wanted to upgrade your side instead of fries for an up charge. They gave you cheese curds.
