This is exactly why dealerships are having a hard time finding technicians. Until they fix their warranty hours, they're not going to have very many technicians come to work for them

Biggest reason I left the trade. Moved into machine maintenance in a manufacturing plant. Made more in my first year than I did in 20 years in automotive. NO customer bullshit NO management bullshit and I’m paid for my time (well) not per job. In this trade the more you know the less you will make because you get all the complicated jobs.
