@girlaboutmelb: @BBQ King Melbourne is an all you can eat Korean and Japanese BBQ restaurant located on King Street in Melbourne CBD. 🔥 Right at the entrance to Koreatown, across from the traditional Korean gate, this double storey venue is one of the biggest AYCE BBQ spots I’ve seen in Melbourne. It just kept going. We visited on a Monday night and both levels were already packed by 6pm. 😳 They offer unlimited premium meats, seafood, hot food, salad, soup and dessert bars, with lunch from $39.90pp and dinner $49.90pp. You can also visit during lunch just for the hot food selection for $19.90pp. 💰 The sushi station is available during dinner service only and they were pumping out fresh sushi all night, as well as staff continuously slicing and preparing the meats fresh. We tried pretty much everything across the different stations but these were the standouts for us! 👇🏽 From the hot food section:
🔥 Fried chicken
🔥 Spicy pork
🔥 Beef ribs
🔥 Tteokbokki
🔥 Roasted vegetables From the premium meats/BBQ:
🥩 Halloumi
🥩 Various marinated chicken
🥩 Lamb T-bone
🥩 Wagyu chuck eye roll
🥩 Beef bulgogi Everything we had was surprisingly tender once cooked and I was also really impressed seeing staff actively supervising to avoid cross contamination with different tongs. 🙏🏽 There are cheaper AYCE BBQ spots around Melbourne but this is one of the first where pretty much everything we tried was good, especially from the hot food section which can sometimes be very hit or miss elsewhere. 😅 The only thing I’d note is there’s a 90 minute seating limit and personally I think 2 hours would work a little better, especially when there are lines for certain food stations during busy periods. Not overly smoky either! We will be back. 👍🏽 Paid invite | #melbourne #fyp
