I always get there early, open the door, then wait in the driveway for them. I tell them to check the house out and then I wait in my car. I NEVER go in the house with anyone by myself ever!!!

Always have them enter first, when showing rooms (bedrooms, bathrooms etc) never walk in first. Never turn your back on people. Stay aware and at a distance.

Each office should have an emergency protocol, my broker said to call and ask for a file - different color files meant a different situation, the red file was the most serious situation ir you felt unsafe.
