REAL STORY. I had a mate over and i was cooking steak and asked of he'd like one, then I asked how he liked it cooked. they said well done and after a little bit of me and my older brother taking the piss I got him to agree to let me cook it my way and if they didn't like it id take it back and cook it well done. I served him a medium rare steak and after trying it he said it was the best steak he'd ever had, I made sure to confirm he wasn't being nice. If he really didn't like it I wouldn't judge and cook it welldone because all I wanted was for him to try it. he loved it so much he wanted more. (it wasn't just steak i also had sides but I don't remember what they were, but it was the steak that he wanted more of, I'm not a selfish host I feed my guests, I even make changes/ preparation for vegan guests)

I can cook a steak till it crispy black on the outer edges and you still only need to chew once..chewy steak is a bad cut or cooked wrong .. doesn't matter how done it is

ever steak i cook is well done, nice and crispy on the outside extra done on the inside, haven't had a chewy steak yet. dont know what steaks use are buying but you can cook the crap out of porterhouse and it will still be perfect 👌
