@de_knees__: 22 May 2026… my last day at work. 🥹👩‍💻 (and also my mum’s birthday 😂🥳) Today was honestly such an emotional day for me. As someone who’s always been very risk averse and thought corporate success was the only “right” path in life… this was probably one of the hardest decisions I’ve made. Juggling a full-time job, late nights for campaigns, content creation, travelling and wedding planning eventually caught up with me… and I realised I was burnt out in ways I couldn’t ignore anymore. And no, this post isn’t to romanticise quitting your job because I know not everyone can or should do this. I’m really grateful to even have the privilege and support system to slow down for a while. 🤍 For now, I’m choosing to be kinder to myself and enjoy my life in my own terms; creating, travelling and just focusing on the other priorities in my life Here’s to my unfiltered funemployed era 🥹 Follow along for my travel adventures, wedding & adulting journey 💖
