FIDE has been around for over 100 years and has only awarded 2100 player the title of Grandmaster in chess in those 100 years. League has an average of 3200 Challenger players at ALL times. It's estimated 70% of the adult population has played AT LEAST one game of chess. Debate settled. Strategically chess is the hardest game in the world. Mechanically, rocket league is the hardest game in the world.

Youngest GMs are around 13yo, and pretty much all of them started at 5-7yo and so have already like 7y of experience at 13. There are some ppl who hit chall at 13 too, and I'm ready to bet they didn't start playing league at 6.

chess has more variations than atoms in the observable universe ts is way harder than any of the listed games...theres a reason the no. of gms are so low compared to the no. of pros in other games...even if the player base went up its still gonna be low

everyone in the comments are so loud and wrong for no reason whatsoever. chess has been proven by an innumerable amount of research to be an incredibly hard game. I severely doubt that league could ever even come close to chess, even in a million alternate universes.
