While it’s not even close to the same, I’m the same way with Mother’s Day. I lost my mom 14 years ago and I personally stay home and out of stores because I can’t stand seeing all the celebration ads and promotional stuff. I know I’m fortunate that my son came home from Afghanistan because several of his good friends in his group didn’t.
