Should you weight your pasta raw or cooked? The answer is both (ish) The box nutrition facts is for the raw pasta. Start here and go off these numbers. Track this in My Fitness Pal. But once it’s cooked, then what? What to do: 1. Weight out raw pasta. 1 serving is 56 grams. In my example here I did 2 servings, which came to 112 grams. 2. Cook pasta according to box 3. Strain pasta. Zero out scale with a bowl on it. Add cooked pasta to the scale and weigh in grams. 4. Divide cooked weight by how ever many servings you are making. In my example I made two servings and portioning out 2 servings. The total weight of cooked pasta was 267 grams. 267/2=133.5 grams per serving. **If you only wanted a half serving or noodles you would divide the total cooked weight by 4. 267/4=67 grams Or if you only wanted to weight and track it raw you could just “eyeball” how many servings you wanted to make from the cooked pasta.
