idk I think they’re both victims. I mean like he obviously didn’t think it’d actually work. A lot of people say like “I wish people liked me/I wish people loved me/ I wish she’d be obsessed with me” and really don’t mean unhealthy complete infatuation. He wanted NIKKI to like him. Not willow-wish Nikki. And it wasn’t just abt her appearance. When she gave a 20 to the homeless man it showed that he really liked her for who she was.

I don’t think the wish part was his fault, it was the way he went about it after he realized she wasn’t herself. The wish is the same as making a wish on a dandelion or smth, and he wished it out of frustration without thinking, so he didn’t actually expect it to work. He became the villain when he didn’t try or want to change her back
