sounds insane, but have you tried an SNRI? i refuse to do antipsychotics because i was on them all throughout my teenage years and i never had a good experience with them. i didn’t think it was possible to “manage” my mood with a simple antidepressants. i also have bipolar 2 and cptsd, and cymbalta has been a game changer for me. i can still feel emotions (and yes sometimes they are big emotions bc im bipolar), but i don’t act impulsively. and of course i still have rlly bad days, but it’s more manageable. i totally understand how it is to feel outcasted or different bc people don’t understand my thought process or why i reacted the way i did. and its dreadful to know that you’ll be in this constant mood swing the rest of your life. but i feel much better when someone can relate with me. bipolar 2 is not easy, and you can’t just get over it. it can be exhausting and debilitating. you aren’t alone, and if you ever need to talk lmk❤️
