*We failed him once. We refuse to fail him again.* 💔 Two weeks ago, videos came in of a horse on the street, eating garbage to survive. He was skin and bones. Kicking trash cans. Dodging cars. No owner in sight. You saw him. You commented. You begged us to go get him. We wanted to. God, we wanted to. But the place was hours away, it was an emergency, and we had no transport. No trailer. No fuel money. So we had to say “we can’t.” Those are the two hardest words in rescue. We’ve thought about him every single day since. Today, another video came in. It’s him. Same horse. Same street. Same empty eyes. Still walking in traffic. Still searching garbage for food. Still waiting for someone to come. This time, we don’t want to fail him just because of transport. My dear followers, my supporters, my friends… If we had a trailer and fuel, we’d be there right now. But we don’t. Transport is what stands between this horse and a safe stall, clean water, and hay that isn’t from the trash. I’m not asking for $1,000.
