At least eight people are dead and 26 others rescued after a three-storey building collapsed in Alakija, Lagos, with rescue teams still searching the rubble as fears remain that more victims may be trapped. Oyo State has extended the curfew in 10 local government areas bordering Old Oyo National Park, keeping the 4 p.m. to 8 a.m. restriction in place for 24 more hours as officials try to curb insecurity.
