I figured out the problem- 1. Download with an SD card reader or through USB-C cable. The DJI app ruins quality when you download through it. And number two, the macro lens helps vlog quality a lot

Your comparing an action cam vs vlogging came, resolution doesn’t mean anything , it’s the sensor size that matters , the action 6 sensor size isn’t a true 1inch sensor like the osmo so the depth of field, quality will never compare to it

The cropping issue is usually because the download quality setting is on compressed, check if you're downloading the original file vs the quick transfer version 👀

I think it’s basically TikTok compressing the quality. Lots of Action6 uploads have this same issue

Pocket 3 and Action 6 serve different purposes tbh, once you nail the settings the Action 6 holds its own outdoors 💪

First the pocket does well just out the box to get a normal user, clear cinematic quality. But the 4k 24fps is just the tip of the ice berg. For the action 6 it's even more important to shoot in d log M, as well as manual settings keeping the Shutter speed at 1/50 to get the most natural and cinematic motion blur AND this part is essential. GETTING ND FILTERS. It's just like any other camera. If you just use the camera with automatic settings you'll never get to achieve making the camera cinematic.

My recommendation would be to change the FOV and mess around with your exposure. My action 5 footage looks super good even compared to the pocket 3

you need to change the settings when you film indoor to night mode. also color grading is a must using the DJI Mimi app

the action looks good only outside with lots of light , and I mean lot , with my studio lights action 6 still looks bad , the pocket 3 has much bigger sensor , will look good in most situations
