@claymancoffee: Replying to @shhhhssshhhhhhh How to froth almond milk: The main thing to avoid with almond milk is adding too much air. Because then it will end up grainy, airy and the coffee will be bitter. The barista almond milks have a lot of oil, gum and emulsifier so even with a little aeration you can get a smooth creamy texture in the coffee. Step 1: add air as quickly and finely as you can (this is the challenge especially with a weaker machine) Step 2: texture and fold the bubbles into silky micro foam. For this, you don't want to have the wand too deep otherwise the bubbles/foam will stay on top and not fold in with the rest of the milk. #cafe #barista #coffee #almondmilk

The timing depends on the amount of milk you are steaming as well as the pressure your steam wand is putting out. A good starting point for all milks is aerating till the milk is about the same temp as your hand, not warm but not cold either.
