Parchment paper is safe to use if you want to make something in the oven. Wax paper is safe if the thing you want to make is fire.

Quick Rule of Thumb * Want nonstick, gentler baking → parchment paper * Want stronger heat, crisping, or covering → aluminum foil You can also combine them: * Foil outside for structure/heat * Parchment inside touching the food to prevent sticking.

Most parchment you buy at grocery stores is oven safe to like 425 max. So READ the box before you use it to verify before you use it!

Use them to cook and also cover my food in the microwave, so useful! Instead of making surfaces dirty on the counter or another plate, just use this as well.
