@offenceregister: A devastating independent report has exposed the horrifying reality inside a Glasgow drug den dubbed the "beastie house," where a violent gang ran organized child rape nights while visiting officials completely failed to act. The seven predators involved are currently serving a combined century behind bars. The Offences and Trial Details The gang was completely convicted following Scotland's largest child abuse prosecution. The investigation exposed their calculated and vile methods, proving they targeted primary-school-age children—and even toddlers in nappies—subjecting them to relentless physical assaults, cocaine, alcohol, and graphic filming. Sentences and Court Orders Following their convictions, the judiciary handed the seven gang members sentences totalling nearly one hundred years in prison. To guarantee permanent public protection, the court has stripped them of all community freedom, enforced mandatory registration on the sex offenders register for life, and applied maximum multi-agency tracking upon release. Investigation and Impact The intensive independent review by Professor Alexis Jay exposed a catastrophic breakdown in child protection. Trackers revealed that officials regularly visited the property but ignored warnings, including a haunting moment where a little girl banged on the window begging workers not to leave, an action officials dangerously brushed off as challenging behavior.
