Thousands of families are being forced to evacuate because of a toxic chemical leak near their community… and somehow we’re supposed to believe there wasn’t a stronger emergency backup plan in place? Absolutely unacceptable. When you’re storing dangerous chemicals anywhere near neighborhoods, schools, and working families, the safety standards should be beyond strict — not reactive after disaster strikes. I earned my commercial driver’s license in Los Angeles under regulations that felt more stringent than this. That should concern every American. People deserve accountability. People deserve transparency. And most importantly, people deserve protection BEFORE an emergency happens — not after alarms start going off. Praying for every family affected in Orange County tonight.
