The essence of Buddhism, and what distinguishes it from all other religions, lies in this: While every religion speaks of an external, great God, Buddhism teaches that if there is such a God, that is your Buddha-nature, it has never left you. Therefore, all religions seek that most authoritative God, while Buddhism focuses on returning inward to the inherent nature within us. This is Buddhism. Many people say that believing in any religion is the same-it's all about doing good. Of course, even without religious belief, universal human values dictate doing good. But the preciousness of Buddhism lies in its return to one's true nature. Learning Buddhism is not a hobby, let alone a fashion, nor does it mean that learning Buddhism has any merits. The purpose of studying Buddhism is to understand the universal truth.

Buddha's 49 years teaching about the universal truth was all about substance and quantum, it's just that he didn't put them into science terms. What Roger Penrose 2020 Nobel Prize in Physics mentioned was what all Buddha has taught but the Buddha explained it in more detail. We already have the definite answers to numbers, space, time, matter even quantum explained by Buddha 2500 years ago which many are not aware of, including many buddhists, sadly. For example, what does quantum mean? It is a phenomenon of consciousness, and thoughts are quanta. Scientists study external things, but Buddhism talks about the most subtle thoughts deep inside. They are two different directions. No matter how in-depth a scientist's research is, that's just scientific knowledge, but it's still amazing. Buddhism talks about the psychological state, that is, the state of consciousness, nothing about an external god you rely on, but only the universal truth. The Buddha enlightened and realized the four phenomena in the physical principles: the formation, existence, extinction, and emptiness of the universe are repeated continuously. He explained the origin of everything in the universe very clearly, but few people believe it. I am not here to talk about religion as Buddhism is not a religion, it is just a concept, it is science, many people misunderstood it.
